Fredericksburg Toyota Dealer Donates $10K To Brisben Center For Families Facing Homelessness
The donation will support Brisben Center operations and programs for families experiencing homelessness in the Fredericksburg area.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg has donated $10,000 to the Brisben Center, a Fredericksburg nonprofit that assists families experiencing homelessness, according to a March 31 press release.
The contribution will support the center's daily operations and programs aimed at helping families move toward long-term stability, according to the release. Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg identified The Brisben Center as a regional resource that provides temporary shelter and services for families during periods of transition.
“At Sheehy, we’re committed to supporting the communities we serve in meaningful ways,” said Mike Rastegari, general manager of Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg. “The Brisben Center does more than meet immediate needs — it helps families move toward lasting stability and a brighter future. We’re proud to support that work.”

The donation was presented to Alice Stanton, a
children’s programs and events specialist at the Brisben Center. Sales Champion Saige Thomas represented the dealership at the presentation, according to the release.
The Brisben Center provides temporary shelter and a range of support services, according to the release. Those services include personalized case management, employment assistance and financial literacy support. Families can access healthcare referrals, wellness resources and educational programming for children.

The new funding will help sustain operations while expanding programs intended to address immediate needs and long-term outcomes. The stated goal is to reduce the likelihood that families return to homelessness.
The donation is part of what the company described as a broader commitment to community engagement through Sheehy Auto Stores. The company is celebrating 60 years of service in 2026. Sheehy Auto Stores said it was founded in 1966 and operates more than 25 dealerships in the Mid-Atlantic.
The company also said its Sheehy Cares initiative donated more than $1 million in 2025.
