Fredericksburg Welsh Festival Saturday at James Monroe Museum

The popular street festival, sponsored by the Welsh Society of Fredericksburg, has live Welsh music, dancing, food and fun for kids.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The 27th Annual Fredericksburg Welsh Festival is set for Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in front of the James Monroe Museum at 908 Charles Street.

The street festival will include live Welsh music, arts and crafts, food, dancing and many children's activities.

It honors the Welsh heritage of James Monroe through his mother, Elizabeth Jones.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for kids.
