Fredericksburg Woman Hit, Killed By Car In D.C. Intersection
A 60-year-old woman from Fredericksburg died on Wednesday after a car hit her at an intersection in Washington, D.C.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A Fredericksburg woman died on Wednesday after a car hit her as she crossed a street in Washington D.C., police said.
Police identified the woman as 60-year-old Venancie Musabe. She was pronounced dead at a hospital after the crash.
Authorities have not identified the driver of the 2020 Dodge Charger that hit Musabe. The Metropolitan Police Department has not announced any charges in connection with the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.

The crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and 10th Street northwest. Police said Musabe was trying to cross Massachusetts Avenue from the north side to the south side, when the westbound Dodge Charger hit her in the intersection.
EMS personnel took Musabe to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead after life-saving efforts failed.
