Gardner Appointed Stafford Middle School Assistant Principal

STAFFORD, VA — The Stafford County School Board this week appointed Katelyn Gardner as the new assistant principal at Stafford Middle School. Gardner has been a teacher with Stafford County Public Schools since August 2012.

Prior to her appointment, Gardner taught world geography at Stafford Middle School. In addition to her daily teaching responsibilities, Gardner served as a mentor teacher and the school's social studies lead since 2013.

Gardner also is responsible for all 504 plans for 8th grade students, maintaining regular communication with students, parents, and teachers to ensure all 504 plan accommodations are met.

Gardner earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Mary Washington and holds a bachelor's degrees in social studies secondary education from Radford University.
