Garth Brooks World Tour in Richmond Nov. 12

RICHMOND, VA — Country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will hit Richmond for the first time in 19 years 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Richmond Coliseum, 601 E. Leigh Street.

It's the world tour's only stop in Virginia.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Sept. 30, with an eight-ticket limit per purchase.

According to Rolling Stone, Brooks' world tour has surpassed ticket-sales records previously held by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

He recently was nominated for the Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year award, which he already has won four times.
