General Manager Embezzled More than $60,000 From Business in Stafford: Police
Kaz Automotive was victimized by Andy Joseph Costa, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, going back to 2014.

STAFFORD, VA — The now-former general manager of Kaz Automotive on Garrisonville Road was indicted last month for embezzling more than $60,000 of worth of cash, merchandise or services from the business, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
Andy Joseph Costa, 40, of Woodford was indicted on 14 counts of embezzlement by a Grand Jury and is scheduled to go on trial February in Stafford County Circuit Court.
On July 18, the owners reported to police they believed an employee was embezzling from their shop. Investigators interviewed customers, current and former employees and reviewed hundreds of documents.

Here's what they allege Costa did:
- Waived charges.
- Gave deep discounts to friends and family members.
- Pocketed cash payments.
- Exchanged repair work for food and gifts.
- Registered forfeited car titles in his name.
Police say this had been going on since 2014.
