Get A Passport To Travel The Fredericksburg Area Breweries Trail

The City of Fredericksburg, Stafford County and Spotsylvania County have joined with local breweries to launch a beer trail.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — With tasting rooms located in industrial parks and historic downtown, the Fredericksburg area is in no short supply of quality beer. The region's craft breweries are still fairly small and compete with larger breweries by selling a total experience, not just beer in a glass or growler.

In their latest move, Fredericksburg-area breweries have teamed up with the tourism offices in the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford and Spotsylvania counties to launch the Fredericksburg Area Breweries Trail. The trail currently features nine craft breweries in the region.

The trail comes with a passport program that allows people to get stamps for each participating brewery they visit, and then turn in the passport at area visitor centers for free prizes after getting at least five stamps.

Here are the addresses for the area's three vistor centers: Fredericksburg Visitor Center, 706 Caroline St.; Stafford Visitor Center, 224 Washington St. in Falmouth; and Spotsylvania Visitor Center, 4704 Southpoint Parkway.
