Gilbert Martin Howard, 83

Gilbert Martin Howard, 83, of Spotsylvania County died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at home.

Mr. Howard was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.

Survivors include his three children, Greg Howard (Janet) of Spotsylvania, Marjorie Ann Mankin (Charlie) of West Virginia, and Bill Howard (Natalie) of Stafford County; seven grandchildren, Gregory Howard (Carrie), Christine Howard, Billy Howard (Angie), Shelly Ballard, Bobbie Sue Bishop (Sam), Cassie Howard and Charles Mankin (Dorise); and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday, January 2, 2015 at Open Door Baptist Church in Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 10am Saturday, January 3 at the church. Interment will follow in Marshall Cemetery in Marshall, Virginia.
