Guest Terrorizes Hotel Staff In Stafford: Police
A guest beat a maintenance worker and assaulted housekeepers late last month at a Fairfield Inn: Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA — A hotel guest who beat a maintenance worker, assaulted housekeepers and chased them down a hall late last month at the Fairfield Inn and Suites on Jefferson Davis Highway has been arrested, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
Lazarus David Wilson, 18, was charged with assault and battery, disorderly conduct, obstruction of justice, (providing) false identity to a law enforcement officer and identity theft to avoid arrest. He's being held without bond.
On Dec. 28, police went to the hotel for a reported assault. The maintenance worker said Wilson had been banging on a door to one of the rooms and screaming. He asked the worker to let him into the room but was told he's have to go to the front desk to get a key.

The worker then tried to use his radio to notify the front desk of the disturbance, after which Wilson grabbed the radio and began hitting the worker in the face. When police arrived, the worker he was found with cuts on his face, as well as a bleeding, swollen nose. His shirt also had been ripped.
Wilson was found and arrested shortly thereafter while walking on Jefferson Davis Highway. He initially gave police a phony name. Turns out he also was wanted in Prince William County and Stafford County and other charges, including assault on a law enforcement officer, animal cruelty, possession of marijuana and destruction of property.
