Gunshot Fired at Vehicle in Greenbrier Shopping Center

Fredericksburg Police received a call about shots fired at the Greenbrier Shopping Center on Plank Road early Thursday morning.

The call came in at 2:30 a.m. Thursday. A citizen told authorities that a verbal altercation between two unknown males in the shopping center parking lot concluded with one man retiring to his vehicle and driving away while the other drew a weapon and fired a shot in the direction of the vehicle.

The man in his vehicle drove away unharmed.

The suspect who fired the gunshot was described to police as a white male wearing tan-colored pants and a baseball cap.

The investigation is still ongoing.
