Head-Scratching Theft At Dollar General Store In Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Um, what? Someone stole what? In this case, someone inexplicably stole something utterly and completely useless to them Thursday from the Dollar General Store at 1255 Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Federicksburg Police. Namely, someone stole a merchandise scanner.

That's right. A merchandise scanner. Around 1:45 p.m., a store manager reported the theft by an unknown person. Not to worry, though. It was found behind a neighboring store.
