Heroin Dealer Busted in Stafford: Police
The man had been selling heroin from a room at the Motel 6 on Warrenton Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA — A man selling heroin from a room at the Motel 6 on Warrenton Road was arrested Monday, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
Carl Bernard Grant, Jr., 38, of Suffolk, was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin.
Apparently tipped off about suspicious activity, a crime prevention detail staked out the scene and watched people entering the motel room and then leaving a short time later. Each time, a man wearing a white shirt opened and closed the door.

Finally, two people who briefly had visited the room were pulled over by police and found to be in possession of contraband and paraphernalia.
Shortly afterward, the man in the white shirt left the room and went to an area convenience store. That's where police detained him, and he gave them permission to search his motel room.

When they did, they found a large amount of cash, six grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
