On April 28, police went to the townhouse for a reported overdose. The victim was treated and later admitted to using heroin. Police found that he and another person had gone to the residence to use heroin, along with a juvenile known as "Fat Boy," who also had been using heroin but cleaned up the evidence and fled after the overdose.
Police went to the juvenile's residence, and the owner gave them permission to search the house. That's when they found Kyle William Dickinson, 23, hiding in the attic. Drugs were found in his room.
