Hit-And-Run Driver Injures 11-Year-Old On Bike In Stafford

Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who stuck an 11-year-old boy riding his bicycle Saturday: Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA — Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who stuck an 11-year-old boy riding his bicycle Saturday afternoon at the England Run North apartment complex, 18 New Castle Place, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital and released after treatment.

The suspect's vehicle was described as a dark blue crew cab style pickup with a Philadelphia Eagles sticker on the left side of the back window. The suspect was described as a young Hispanic male with black hair. He was wearing rainbow colored sunglasses on his head, and there was a female passenger with a child in her lap, as well as another person in the backseat behind the driver. Around 3 p.m., police were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report of the incident. An investigation found that the victim was trying to cross Cynthias Place when he was hit. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-658-4400.
