Husband Finds Jailed Wife's Stolen Credit Cards in Stafford: SCSO

STAFFORD, VA—When a Stafford man's credit ratings recently took a nose dive, he couldn't figure out why. Then he looked inside his wife's purse and dresser drawers. That's when things started to make a little more sense, and that's when he contacted police.
Seems his wife, already jailed on felony larceny charges, had several stolen cards in her apartment—including one in his name he hadn't authorized. He also found two pieces of paper with credit card numbers and personal information.
He gave all this to police, who called the owners of the other credit cards. Predictably, they had not, in fact, given his wife permission to take or use the cards.
