I-95 Northbound Lanes Reopened At Overpass In Stafford
Towing crews successfully removed a truck lodged under an overpass on the northbound side of I-95 in Stafford, just north of exit 133.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Interstate 95 northbound lanes in Stafford County fully reopened soon after 5 p.m. on Tuesday after towing crews removed a dump truck that had lodged under an overpass just north of exit 133.
The Virginia Department of Transportation said drivers should expect residual delays as congestion clears on I-95 and Rt. 1 northbound in the Fredericksburg area.
Around 1 p.m., officials from VDOT said a truck got stuck underneath the Truslow Road overpass. By about 2:30 p.m., one northbound I-95 lane briefly reopened, passing underneath the overpass, to clear the queue of vehicles stopped between the Route 17 interchange and the overpass.

But VDOT shut down all lanes again to allow the crews to remove the truck from underneath the overpass. After the dump truck was removed, inspectors arrived to check on the integrity of the bridge.
