'I Have Cocaine' Woman Tells Deputy After Crashing Car Into Pole
A 44-year-old Stafford woman admitted that she had cocaine in her sock, following a Monday morning crash, according to sheriff's deputies.

STAFFORD, VA — A 44-year-old Stafford woman who crashed her car into a pole Monday morning is facing multiple charges, including driving under the influence, after she told a deputy that she had cocaine, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded around 6:32 a.m., to Greenbank Road for the report of a Mitsubishi Lancer leaving the road and striking a power line pole.
The driver of the Lancer told deputies that the crash happened because she was tired. SCSO reported that the driver had slurred speech, seemed to be disoriented and lethargic.

Deputy F.C. O’Neill also noticed that the driver had a bulge in her sock. When he asked what it was, she said, "I have cocaine."
Deputies obtained warrants for two charges, driving under the influence and possession of controlled substance. They will serve those warrants once the driver is released from the hospital, where she was taken to be be treated for injuries sustained during the crash.
