I love Jesus

The worldwide Christian community will be celebrating Christmas on December 25th. This holiday has now being associated with a lot of commercialism.

Muslims believe in all prophets sent by God as an obligatory part of their faith. They believe that Prophet Jesus (peace be on him) was chosen by God. He was sent as the last prophet among the Israelites. The Holy Qur’an states, "When the angels said, 'O Mary, God gives thee glad tidings of a word from Him; his name shall be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, honored in this world and in the next, and of those who are granted nearness to God" (3.46).

In the Holy Quran Jesus (pboh) is mentioned to have been able to perform miracles. God says in the Holy Qur'an, "The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely, Messengers like unto him had indeed passed away before him. And his mother was a truthful woman. They both used to eat food" (5:76). This verse tells how both Jesus and Mary (peace be on them) are highly respected in Islam.
