Indecent Exposure Charge Made Despite 'Just Moving It' Excuse: Deputy

A Stafford County Sheriff's deputy arrested a man for exposing himself in a local discount store, according to the daily crime report.

STAFFORD, VA — Despite offering an explanation of his actions to a Stafford County Sheriff's deputy, a man was arrested for exposing himself at a local discount store on Saturday morning.

Deputy S.M. Craig responded around 9:48 a.m. to the Dollar General store at 1348 Courthouse Road for the report of a man exposing himself while he was in the business, according to a SCSO report.

Craig located the suspect, who told the deputy he was just "readjusting it.” In spite of this explanation, Craig arrested the man, who was later charged with indecent exposure. The man was held on a $2,500 secured bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail.
