Governor Northam's Phase Two Reopening

Much of Virginia, including the Fredericksburg area, will enter Phase Two of Gov. Northam’s “Forward Virginia” reopening plan on Friday, June 5, with restaurants and gyms able to offer limited indoor service. Phase Two of reopening in Virginia will add increased flexibility for gatherings, restaurants, gyms, sports, and some entertainment venues.

The City of Fredericksburg continues to strongly urge strict adherence’s to universally recognized COVID-19 best practices to include: social distancing (stay 6 feet apart), stay home if sick or a high risk citizen, following aggressive hygiene measures (wash your hands often), wear a mask when in the company of others and inside public buildings.
