Jackets Hit the Road for Friday Date with Caroline
Fredericksburg's undefeated pigskin juggernaut will aim for 6-0 Friday at Caroline.

Good teams know how to win ugly. And last Friday at King George, it was ugly. A myriad of penalties and miscues marked the first half, which saw JM take a scant 15-14 lead into the break. In the second half however, the Yellow Jackets looked every bit the team we have all come to expect throughout the early part of this season.
James Monroe head coach Rich Serbay was ejected in the fourth quarter of last week's game, a binding decision that comes with an accompanying mandatory one-game suspension. However, in a decision coming earlier this week, VHSL overturned the ejection, allowing Serbay to take to the sidelines this Friday.
For Game Six, the Yellow Jackets will be on the road again, this time to face Caroline High School in Milford. The Cavaliers were the recipients of a 34-12 beating at Eastern View last week.

Don't expect JM to come out of the gates flat two weeks in a row. This game will likely see Coach Serbay emptying out his bench before halftime. The word on the street is that injured QB Demontaz Brown has been cleared to play, but it will be interesting to see if back-up Julian Bumbrey is worked into specific packages after his success last week.
