70th Jalsa Salana i.e Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA will be held on July 13-15, 2018 at Pennsylvania Farm show complex in Harrisburg, PA. This Jalsa is the longest running Muslim convention in the country. Every year members of Ahmadiyya Muslim community get together for a three-day conference starting on Friday and ending on Sunday. Guests are also invited at this event and everyone enjoys powerful speeches. We always gain some knowledge from the speeches.
Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani who initiated this convention in 1891 from India, explained the purpose of the convention in these words, “The primary purpose of this convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefit; They may enhance their knowledge and due to their being blessed and enabled by God, The Exalted- their perception [of God] may progress.”
At the convention, hundreds of volunteers are assigned various duties. The speeches at the Jalsa are usually dedicated to strengthening spirituality, building bridges of tolerance and love and promotion of message of peace and justice for all. We leave for our homes with our hearts filled with the motto of “Love for all, Hatred for None”. Learn more at www.Jalsasalana.us
