
Jeffrey Lee Lenox, 50, passed away unexpectedly at his home in the White Oak area of Stafford on Friday, Nov. 14.
Jeff was born October 4, 1964 in Fredericksburg. He was a 1983 graduate of Stafford High School. He had completed the Joint Carpentry Apprenticeship Program in Washington DC and was a Journeyman Carpenter. For the past fifteen years, he worked at the FBI Academy in Quantico. He was proud to have supported the Hostage Rescue Team since August 2012.
Jeff was devoted to his family and friends. His great passion was hunting and being outdoors. He shared this passion with his children. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Karen Duncan Lenox; his children, Kathryn Lenox and John Lenox, of the home; his father, Johnny Lenox, of Fredericksburg; his mother, Lillie Wiggins, of Stafford; his sister, Karen McBroom and her husband Mike, of Fredericksburg; his brother, Kevin Wiggins and wife Lisa, of Texas; his nephew, Ronnie Sanford, of Boonsboro, MD; his mother-in-law, Joyce Duncan, of Durham, NC; and brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Duncan of Utah, and Steve Duncan of North Carolina; and many, many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, November 17, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 18 at 11 a.m. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
