Jimmy The Greek Restaurant Closed Through July For Staff Vacation

Jimmy The Greek, a family-owned restaurant in Fredericksburg, will be closed for the rest of July to allow its staff to take a vacation.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Jimmy The Greek will be closed until the end of July, the Fredericksburg restaurant announced on Facebook on Monday.

The restaurant's owners told Patch that they're shutting down temporarily so that employees can take time off from work.

"Well deserved break for my staff and we will reopen August 1," the owners told Patch in a Facebook message.

Jimmy The Greek opened its doors at its current location on Lafayette Boulevard in late 2021. The facility specializes in American, Italian, and Greek cuisine.

The restaurant has gone through several iterations over the years. The original restaurant opened at its current site on Lafayette Boulevard in 1988.

The restaurant later moved to Stafford County in 2008 before shutting down again in 2014.
