July 4 Weekend Weather Forecast For Virginia: Thumbs Up

From Northern Virginia to the beaches of Hampton Roads, the July 4 weekend weather forecast for the Commonwealth should prompt a smile.

STERLING, VA — From Northern Virginia to the beaches of Hampton Roads, the July 4 weekend weather forecast for the Commonwealth should prompt a smile. Aside from an iffy Saturday, conditions now through Independence Day are expected to be mostly sunny and hot with scant chances of rain, according to the National Weather Service outlet in Sterling.

Following a mostly sunny Friday, Saturday is expected to arrive with mostly cloudy conditions and a 60 percent chance of rain, including possible thunderstorms here and there. But that stuff is projected to clear out Saturday night, and Sunday right on through Tuesday is looking ideal for any and all activities.
