Karl Joseph Alsheimer, 61, of Fredericksburg, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Joelle A. Alsheimer of Fredericksburg; mother Bernice Alsheimer of Silver Spring, MD; daughter Karin Alsheimer of Fredericksburg; brother Kurt Alsheimer of Silver Spring, MD; and sisters Antoinette Whitmeyer of Bethesda, MD, Michele Alsheimer of Rockville, MD, and Olga A. Lewis of Mountain View, CA.

The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. Saturday, September 27, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Services will be held at a later date in Stockton, Kansas, with burial at Saint Thomas Cemetery.
