Kings Dominion to Add New Ride for 2016 Season
Construction of the new ride, called Delirium, will begin this fall once the park closes after the 2015 season.

Popular Virginia theme park Kings Dominion will expand this offseason, adding at least one new large ride called Delirium for spring 2016.
The park said construction of Delirium will begin this fall once the park closes for the season. It is expected to be finished in time for the park’s reopening in the spring.
The ride is essentially a swinging pendulum that holds 40 riders shoulder to shoulder in a large circle facing outward. Riders will soar as high as 115 feet in the air and will be suspended at an angle of 120 degrees at the ride’s peak.
