Juvenile Charged With Robbery Of Stafford Tobacco Store: Police
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with robbing the Tobacco & More store in Stafford on Wednesday afternoon.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A teenaged boy was charged with robbing the Tobacco & More store on Garrisonville Road in Stafford on Wednesday. Authorities arrested the boy while they were canvassing the area after the robbery.
The robbery was reported around 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1000 block of Garrisonville Road. In an update, the sheriff's office said the suspect, who was described as a Black teenager, entered the store with a knife and demanded money from an employee. Cash and $600 worth of vape products were reported missing, police said.

After leaving the store, the suspect fled towards Furnace Road. Deputies claimed they located the suspect on St. Roberts Drive. The suspect was identified as a 17-year-old boy from Stafford County. Deputies recovered cash, vape products, and a knife.
The boy was charged with robbery and taken to the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.

At the time of the robbery, authorities said the suspect matched the description of a person who robbed the Sheetz store on Garrisonville Road. The sheriff's office said they are pursuing charges for the teenager in connection with that robbery as well.
Authorities said that no injuries were reported in either robbery.
