Leslie Randolph, 89

Obituary and service information from Covenant Funeral Service.

Leslie Joy Hicks Randolph, 89, passed away Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014.

She was born in Fredericksburg on May 14, 1925, to Helen and DuVal Quinn Hicks Sr.

When she was a young woman, she was a buyer in New York for her parents’ dress stores, an employee at the Pentagon and an assistant to a cardiologist, but the lifetime “job” she loved most was raising her three children, Bob, DuVal and Paige. Her other loves included her many animals: dogs, cats, raccoons, peacocks, chickens and possum; all plants and flowers; decoupage; bridge; Christmas; shopping; music and the ocean. She had a joy for life, and often said she wished she could “do it all over again.”
