Libraries Work With Census Bureau In Fredericksburg Area

Central Rappahannock Regional Library is partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau to help residents complete their 2020 Census forms.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) is partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau to help residents complete their 2020 Census forms. With public libraries the nation's largest provider of free computer access, CRRL expects a surge of customers to visit its branches in Fredericksburg as well as Stafford, Spotsylvania and Westmoreland counties to complete the Census.

Library staff members will be available to help residents complete their Census forms at the library system's 10 branches and two satellite locations. Residents are expected to start receiving a postcard in March and April with instructions on taking the Census online or by phone.

CRRL will be holding Civic Lab events in March to provide information about the 2020 Census and its importance to the community. On April 1, most CRRL branches will host Census Day Celebrations where libraries will offer family-friendly activities and help with filling out the Census forms.
