Life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)-a Messenger of Peace

Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association of Stafford and Fredericksburg gathered on Oct 21, 2017, at a local library in Fredericksburg for an event about the life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be on Him)-a Messenger of Peace.

Guests from various religious backgrounds were also invited to this occasion. The event focused on the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Speakers presented incidents from his life and shed light on his teachings.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an followed by its translation. Thereafter, a saying of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was shared and a poem in his praise was recited. After the opening remarks, there were two speeches on the topics of “Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) compassion and kindness” and “Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) excellent quality of tolerance”. After the speeches, another poem in the praise of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was recited. Subsequently, three speeches were presented which were on topics such as, Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) favors to women, mercy for the animals, and his humor and informality.

At the end, Nosheen Tehmina, the Vice President of local chapter of AMWA gave her concluding remarks and led the audience in silent prayers. After the program refreshments were served to all guests and members. The event was enjoyed by all and was an educational opportunity for the guests who learned about the true peaceful Islam.
