FREDERICKSBURG, VA — If you're one of those folks who for whatever reason has had a life-long yearning to have your picture taken as the centerpiece of a life-sized holiday greeting card, well, opportunity knocks. That's because you'll have just such an opportunity between now at Dec. 26 at Hurkamp Park, William and Prince Edward Streets.
Organizers, including the Fredericksburg department of parks, recreation and events, suggest taking selfies or whatever floats your boat, and then sharing the pics on Facebook or Instagram with #FxbgHolidays2017. There will be four card designs: Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza and Happy Holidays. For more information, call 540-372-1086.
