Liquor Store Deals in Virginia This Black Friday

Rum balls, which many believe are a delicious holiday treat, call for at least half a cup of rum. This can become an expensive recipe for holiday chefs, but Virginia ABC liquor stores will reduce some of the cost this Black Friday.

The statewide liquor store operation is offering a Black Friday deal of 10 percent off any purchase of $50 or more. To celebrate their 80 anniversary, the store will also raffle off $80 gift cards to 80 customers who sign up for the raffle on Black Friday.

”This is a unique opportunity for our retail customers to celebrate our anniversary with us,” Virginia ABC Chairman Jeff Painter said in a press release. “And for individuals interested in trading up to more premium brands, stocking up for holiday parties or getting gifts for friends, family and coworkers, Black Friday is a great time to purchase quality items at reduced prices.”

During the season, Virginia ABC stocks specialty gift sets for holiday shoppers. Painter also suggests miniature bottles for stocking stuffers.

Lottery tickets and gift cards are not eligible for the discount.
