Loaded Gun in Carry-On Bag Flagged at Dulles, Fredericksburg Woman Cited
She had been booked on a Friday flight to Dublin, Ireland before the .380 handgun was found by the Transportation Security Administration.
DULLES, VA — A Fredericksburg woman tried to bring a loaded .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun onto a plane in her carry-on luggage Friday night at Dulles International Airport, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
The woman was stopped at a checkpoint line when a TSA officer spotted the gun on the conveyor belt X-ray machine. It was loaded with six bullets.
The woman was ticketed to fly to Dublin, Ireland.
