Local High School Cancels Classes Monday

Classes were cancelled Monday at a Fredericksburg-area high school due to what the school described as “electrical problems.”

The doors were closed at Saint Michael the Archangel High School, a Catholic school with a 19-acre campus three miles west of Interstate 95, off Route 3 in Spotsylvania County.

Phone calls to Saint Michael the Archangel High School were directed to a recording in which a school official said that the school would be closed all day due to electrical problems. The school’s website gave no further information about the closing.
