Lockdown Lifted At Two Stafford Schools

STAFFORD, VA — A brief police lockdown has been lifted at North Stafford High School and Park Ridge Elementary School following an investigation into a suspicious telephone call Monday, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Here's the statement from school officials: "The lockdown at North Stafford High School and Park Ridge Elementary School due to police activity in the area is lifted. Students will resume normal activities. Please be assured student and staff safety is a top priority for Stafford County Public Schools."
