Major Meth Bust Goes Down In Stafford: Police

Two people with more than $26,000 worth of methamphetamine were arrested during a traffic stop Thursday in Stafford: SCSO.

STAFFORD, VA—Two people with more than $26,000 worth of methamphetamine were arrested during a strategic traffic stop Thursday on Interstate 95 South at the Courthouse Road exit, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

The passenger, Shea McDuffie (aka "Shea Cover"), 26, of Ashland, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. The driver, Heather Stock, 25, of Spotsylvania, was charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

The bust was the culmination of a months-long investigation by the Special Investigations unit. Once the vehicle was pulled over, a K9 unit arrived and a police dog, "Lobo," alerted officers to drugs. A subsequent search found more than nine ounces of meth, packaging materials, digital scales, smoking devices and a small amount of marijuana.

McDuffie and Stock are being held without bond.
