Man Assaults, Abducts Woman in Fredericksburg: Police
Officers responded to the scene around 1:15 a.m. Saturday, according to Fredericksburg Police. The woman was taken to a local hospital.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A man physically assaulted a woman and held the acquaintance her against her will early Saturday morning at a residence in the 300 block of Wolfe Street, according to Fredericksburg Police.
Calvin Whitaker, 23, of Spotsylvania County, was arrested and charged with felony strangulation, felony abduction and misdemeanor assault and battery.
Around 1:15 a.m., police arrived at the residence for a report of assault. The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that weren't life threatening.

direction of Roffman Road. Police canvassed the area, but no casings were found. No persons

Livesay & Meyers Attorney at Law, 305 Charlotte Street, 3/18, 9:00 a.m. An employee reported
that an unknown person forced entry through the front door. No items were disturbed or missing.

Vandalism:
Ladyburg Bath & Body Apothecary, 726 Caroline Street, 3/18, 1:30 p.m. A patrol officer was
notified that an unknown person shattered a small window of the store facing the alley. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
Graffiti:
1700 block Lafayette Boulevard, 3/19, 1:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown
person used a marker to mark graffiti on the stairwell inside the building. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
Larceny – Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts:
2900 block Plank Road, 3/17, 9:00 a.m. A citizen reported that an unknown person stole his
snow plow. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Larceny – Theft from Motor Vehicle:
Gold’s Gym, 2380 Plank Road, 3/17, 1:45 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person
forced entry into his vehicle and stole his backpack. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Vehicle Tampering:
200 block Kings Mill Court, 3/20, 4:45 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person
rummaged through his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
