Man Facing Marijuana Charge Brings Pot To Court In Stafford: Cops

A man facing a marijuana-related charge was arrested Tuesday in Stafford when he went to court with pot in his pocket.

STAFFORD, VA—A man was arrested Tuesday for trying to pass through security at the Stafford County Courthouse with marijuana in his pocket. He was there to answer a charge of failing to appear on a previous pot possession charge, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Krystan Earl Keitaro Lewis, 20, of Stafford, was charged—again—with possession of marijuana.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., an officer noticed Lewis having difficulty removing items from his pockets before going through the metal detector. He also appeared to have trouble following directions.
