Fredericksburg Shooting Kills One, Injures Two: Update

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg Police are investigating a shooting early Friday morning in the 200 block of Kingsmill Court that left one man dead and two others hospitalized with non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Killed was Christopher Williams, 21, of Fredericksburg.

Markuis Lucas, 19, of Fredericksburg, was released from the hospital and arrested for felony possession of a stolen firearm.

Jamique McAllister, 18, of Fredericksburg remains hospitalized, and a felony arrest warrant has been issued for a robbery that occurred earlier this week.

Police had received a call at 12:21 a.m. about a disturbance at the Kendalwood Apartment Complex. En route to the scene, police received a report of a shooting at the complex.

Police continue to investigate.
