Man Shot By Unknown Assailant In Fredericksburg: Police

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—A man was shot from behind by an unknown gunman early Tuesday in the 200 block of Kings Mill Court, according to Fredericksburg Police. He's described as black, tall and thin.

Shortly after midnight, police responded to the area for a shots-fired call. They then received a call from a nearby hospital that a man had been brought to the emergency room with injuries that weren't life threatening. The victim said the man fled in an unknown direction.
