Man Sought for Using Counterfeit $100 bill at Wegmans in Fredericksburg: Police

He was wearing a No. 43 Philadelphia Eagles jersey and purchased several items using the phony money, according to Fredericksburg Police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — An unknown man began the new year by buying several items with a counterfeit $100 bill Sunday at the Wegmans at 2281 Carl D. Silver Parkway, according to Fredericksburg Police.

The man, whose image was caught by a store surveillance camera, is a black male who was wearing a green No. 43 Philadelphia Eagles jersey.

Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-373-3122.
