Masked Woman Busted For Knife-Point Robbery In Stafford: Police
A Fredericksburg woman is being held without bond after being arrested for robbing someone at knife-point outside a Stafford Walmart.

STAFFORD, VA—A Fredericksburg woman is being held without bond after being arrested Thursday for robbing someone at knife-point outside the Walmart at 11 Village Parkway, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Amanda Jo Colavito, 38, was charged with robbery and wearing a mask in public.
Around 3:15 p.m., police responded to a reported robbery and were told by the victim—a Walmart employee—she had just wrapped up her shift and was about to head home. That's when she was confronted by Colavito, who was wearing a scarf that concealed her face.
Colavito flashed a box cutter and demanded the victim hand over her purse. Instead, she was given a small amount of cash and fled. The responding officer broadcast a "be on the lookout" call on the radio, and nearby police spotted and arrested her. Afterward, surveillance video corroborated the victim's account.
