And A Million More Campaign.
Art Mart curator designs free posters for Women's March on Washington.

Art as Protest:
Created as a response to Donald Trump's presidential campaign threats to deport between three to five million immigrants on his first day in office, as well drawing inspiration from the Women's March on Washington (and cities around the world!) an intersectional, family friendly event that plans to draw out up a million in attendance. https://www.womensmarch.com/
With these in mind, Art Mart curator Yanina Angelini Arismendi designed And A Million More poster and multi-city street art campaign:

"There are a million more people that wish they could attend this historic march but have a million reasons why they cannot be physically with us. Marching is a privilege and an honor. "
"For every million people that we lose to the oncoming regime, we will raise our voices and in doing so, we will raise a million more proud more conscious, more excellent than ourselves generation of thinkers and creative leaders."
This Friday evening, while supplies last, Art Mart will be giving away full-size posters for people going to the Women's March on Washington the next day.
On Saturday, the artist will be marching in costume as a performance art piece: Marching as Social Justice Senshi, a fictional character, a magical girl whom is obsessed with internet culture, memes and Vaporwave but still fights for inclusion and social justice on social media platforms. Yanina plans to bring forth her online persona into real life, and by doing so, taking the negative connotation of being called a social justice warrior and turning it into a positive while channeling the powerful, hyper femininity attribute to Naoko Takeuchi internationally beloved character Sailor Moon.

After marching is over, you can find the artists at Home Grown HQ painting a mural with this design and message. Yanina plans to paint these murals throughout the year in Baltimore, Philadelphia and NYC.
