Missing 16-Year-Old Girl Sought By Police In Stafford County

A 16-year-old girl from Stafford County has been missing since Thursday. Her friends and family are worried about her safety.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A 16-year-old girl from Stafford County went missing on Thursday. Layla Alvarez has not talked to her friends or family since then, according to the AWARE Foundation, a nonprofit that brings awareness to cases involving missing people.

Alvarez was last seen in Stafford on Thursday wearing a black hoodie, black leggings, and black Converse shoes. Her black hair was styled in a bun. The AWARE Foundation said she is about 5 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. She has brown eyes, a tattoo of a snake and rose on her right forearm, and a "TYL" tattoo on her right arm.
