SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA — A 7-year-old girl from Spotsylvania County is missing, according to the sheriff's office. Authorities believe she is with her mother, who does not have custody.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office identified the girl as Kylie Hale and her mother as Amber-Lynn Romero.

Authorities noted that the pair may be in the New York or New Jersey area.
