Motorcyclist Killed In Early-Morning Dale City Crash: Report
A Fredericksburg woman is facing DUI charges for her role in the crash, which happened on Dale Boulevard in Dale City.
DALE CITY, VA — A Rockville, Md., man was killed early Sunday morning when the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a car driven by 26-year-old Katrina Nicole Thomas of Townes Place in Fredericksburg. Police said speed and alcohol were factors in the deadly crash.
According to a Prince William County police spokeswoman, John Jon Lee, 46, was driving a 2015 Ducati motorcycle and traveling westbound on Dale Boulevard near Forestdale Avenue, InsideNoVA reported. Thomas was driving a 2018 Toyota sedan and was also traveling westbound when both vehicles crossed the center median.
Both the motorcycle and the car struck two separate trees before coming to rest in the eastbound lanes, police said. Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.

Thomas was charged with driving while intoxicated for her role in the crash, and may be facing additional charges.
