Murder-Suicide Victims Identified in Stafford: Police
Lance Buckley is believed to have killed his wife and two young children before killing himself: Stafford County Sheriff's Office

STAFFORD, VA — The bodies of a family of four killed in apparent murder-suicide Thursday in the Windsor Forest subdivision have been identified, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
The suspected killer is Lance Calvin Buckley, 35, according to the Sheriff's Office. His victims:
- Amy Buckley, 30.
- Claire Buckley, 5.
- Abigail Buckley, 18 months.
A little bit after 8:30 a.m. Thursday, police received a call from a man who said he wanted to report three murders at an address on Wilderness Court. He identified himself as Lance Buckley and then hung up, the Sheriff's Office said.

Police responded immediately and found four bodies in the lower level of the home.
Lance Buckley was involved in a strange missing person case in May 2015 a few days before he was to receive a Ph.D. degree from Howard University. He was later found safe at a family campground near Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
