MWH's Spirit of Women Awards Taking Nominations

Mary Washington Healthcare is taking nominations for its Spirit of Women Awards until April 27. The award honors women who do extraordinary things to benefit the community.

The hospital system will select three people from the region who fit the criteria for the awards and they will each be recognized during an event on May 16 at Carl D. Silver Auditorium. The categories are

•  Young Person Role Model, 14- 20 years of age;
• Community Hero, age 21 and over; and
• Healthcare Hero, Clinical Professional.

The deadline for submitting nominations for the MWHC Spirit of Women Awards is Friday, April 27.  Visit www.spirit.mwhc.com for more information and to submit a nomination.
