
Nathan A. Barton, 27, of Spotsylvania passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his home.
Nathan took pride and loved the work he did as an electrician, he also loved his son Chance, niece Makayla and nephew Kristopher. He had a very gentle spirit and was a kid at heart. His family meant the most to him.
Survivors include his mother, Jewell McGill of Fredericksburg; his father, Kendall A. Barton of Spotsylvania; his grandmother, Ida Nave; son Chance A. Barton of Spotsylvania; sisters Emily Willard (Kristopher) of Fredericksburg, Sarah Barton (Ben Duong) of Spotsylvania; niece and nephew, Makayla and Kristopher Willard; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Henry Nave.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Nave Family Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sunshine Lady House, in care of Rappahannock Area Community Services Board, 600 Jackson Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
